Report a bug
Something broken, wrong, or confusing on one of the sites? Please tell us. Small reports are the easiest to act on, so do not wait until you have a perfect write-up.
Where to report
Section titled “Where to report”Open an issue on the website repository. All eight country sites and this handbook are built from that one repository, so every bug goes to the same place.
What to include
Section titled “What to include”The more of this you can give, the faster it gets fixed:
- Which site. The country domain and the page, ideally the full URL.
- What you expected to happen.
- What actually happened instead.
- Steps to reproduce, so someone else can see the same thing.
- Your setup, when it might matter: browser, device, and language.
- A screenshot if the problem is visual.
Good to know before you file
Section titled “Good to know before you file”- Check the open issues first in case someone has already reported it. A quick “me too” with your own details is more useful than a duplicate.
- Content that is out of date (a stale event, a wrong link) counts as a bug. Report it the same way.
- If it is a translation that reads wrong rather than a technical fault, see translations instead.
Security issues
Section titled “Security issues”If you have found a security or privacy problem, do not open a public issue. Note it privately to a maintainer (each country site lists its maintainer in the footer) so it can be handled before it is made public.
